total self-knowledge
the world is a mirror of who we are
and when you have total self-knowledge
then
that reflects in our experience of the world
there is nothing more important than asking two questions
and the first question is:
who am i?
and the second question is:
what do i want?
and
there's a way to do that
so shall we?
close your eyes
put your attention in your heart
and ask yourself
who am i?
and listen to your heart
see what it says
don't look for answers
just ask the question
now ask yourself
what do i want?
again
don't look for answers
just listen to what your heart says
now
let's ask some more questions
what's my life's purpose?
see what your heart says
listen
now ask yourself
what contribution do i want to make to the world?
and listen
now ask yourself
what creates joy for me?
and listen
now ask yourself
who are my heroes and heroines?
and listen
now ask yourself
what are my unique skills and talents?
and listen
now ask yourself
what are the qualities you look for in your best friends?
and listen
now ask yourself
what are the best qualities you can express in your relationships?
and listen
ok
open your eyes
you don't have to ask all these questions all the time
but these questions describe the meanings, the context, the relationships, and even the archetypal things in your life
so in a sense this is a profile of your deepest self
so every day if you can take just 2 minutes
to sit quietly
and go into silence
and ask
who am i
and
what do i want
and then one or maybe two of those others
and
it's not important to know the answers
if you live in the questions
you will move into the answers
through an insight
or a coincidence
or through a relationship
or an encounter
something magical will happen to you
and you will say
aha!
so that is the answer
ok
so this is very important
for you to do this
pick one
