what is NIA?

Nia is a mind, body spirit exercise program that combines dance, martial arts, yoga and healing arts to create a well rounded, safe and life inspiring workout. The craft and technique of Nia involves a variety of movements, speeds, styles, ranges of motion and energy dynamics. Nia helps individuals meet a wide range of therapeutic, wellness, fitness, lifestyle and personal growth-needs. Participants join for many reasons: 1) physical toning, shaping, 2) a greater awareness of themselves & confidence 3) spiritual and emotional awakening, 4) to cure physical, emotional, and mental challenges, 5) decrease stress . 6) to look good and feel sexy, 7) to dance with life and bring in the joy 8) need a workout that’s easy on the body.
